Col. David Stilwell, 35th Fighter Wing commander at Misawa Air Base, Japan, serving as honorary Mayor of Misawa City for the day, approves a staff report March 23, 2010, as his wife Jan observes. Through meeting new people and touring Misawa City Hall, Colonel Stilwell was given an opportunity to better understand how members of the city government conduct business.
