Capt. Dan Rees monitors flight controls during a night airdrop to deliver JP-8 fuel to troops July 17 over southwestern Afghanistan. Captain Rees is aC-130J Super Hercules pilot assigned to the 772nd Expeditionary Airlift Squadron at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Captain Rees is deployed from the 41st Airlift Squadron at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark.
