Capt. Ryan David, a C-130 Hercules navigator from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., calculates the flying time from Beaumont, Texas, to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Medical patients were being transported from Beaumont to Lackland AFB in C-130 Hercules aircraft by aircrews from Little Rock AFB and medical Airmen from the 908th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron at Scott AFB, Ill., in preparation for Hurricane Ike's landfall in southern Texas.
