SHALIMAR, Fla. -- Staff Sgt. Jamie Auger cuts fallen tree limbs into smaller pieces with a chain saw at Bob Hope Village here recently. He and other instructors with the 96th Ground Combat Training Squadron at nearby Eglin Air Force Base cut up fallen trees and pulled 18 stumps, saving the village more than $2,000. Hurricane Ivan downed hundreds of trees on the property and caused more than $300,000 in damage.
