Description:
This 1995 photograph depicted a close up view from inside a front door through its very wide, wide-angle peep hole. The image revealed the magnified image of the person on the other side of the door. When installed no higher than 48', this peephole design allowed residents to see through the portal from a distance, and while standing or seated, thereby, accommodating the needs of both tall or short people, as well as those who couldn't get close to the door, or those whose vision precluded them from using the standard smaller peep hole. It projected a larger image that could be seen without pressing one's face against the door. These larger sized peepholes should be installed in doors, which have no adjacent, or nearby side window, that would provide for easier observation by residents.
