Description:
This 1996 photograph, is one of four PHIL images (see PHIL# 9117, 9119 and 9120), which depict the 'Good Grips', larger, rubber-handled potato peeler with its smaller, all metal, hard edged cousin. The larger, softer, and more easily held peeler was designed with a greater degree of ergonomic user-friendliness in mind. It is able to comfortably fit a wider range of hand sizes with its softer, rubber handle. In this particular photograph, a man's right hand is holding a metal-handled, very small peeler, illustrating how difficult it really is to grasp this kitchen implement.
