Description:

Pararescuemen continue their journey along the Haute Route through the Alps April 5, 2010. The route, approximately 106 miles long, leads mountaineers from Chamonix, France, to Zermatt, Switzerland. The PJs were following the route while practicing their mountain rescue techniques, from March 27 through April 10, 2010. The pararescuemen are assigned to the 56th Rescue Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, England.
