Members of the 198th Infantry Honor Guard from Fort Benning, Ga., place Army Staff Sgt. Briand Williams, a fallen Soldier, into a hearse Dec. 3, 2009, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Sergeant Williams died Nov. 22, 2009, in Numaniyah, Iraq, from wounds he sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using small-arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Heavy Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Benning.
