Description:
This photograph depicts the colonial morphology displayed by Gram-negative Burkholderia thailandensis bacteria, which was grown on a medium of MacConkey agar, for a 24 hour time period, at a temperature of 37C. See PHIL 12420, for a closer view of these bacterial colonies. Also, see both PHIL 12405 and 12406, for views of this bacterial specie, grown on the same medium, at the same temperature (37C), however, at a twice the amount of time (48hr), and note that PHIL 12410 and 12411 depict the same bacterial specie grown on the same media, but at a greater temperature (42C), and greater time period (48hr). Take a look at PHIL 12427 and 12428 colonial growth, on the same medium and for the same amount of time (24hr), but at a greater temperature (42C).
