This photograph, taken in 2000, depicted a gathering of family members in a rural area in Uttar Pradesh, India. The image was captured during a visit made to this village by health care practitioners, which included Stop Transmission of Polio (STOP) members such as Chris Zahniser, B.S.N., R.N., M.P.H., who was also the provider of this picture, as well as a number of others from this field assignment. The visit allowed the health care workers to check on the child village members in order to determine their polio vaccination status.
