This photograph, taken in 2000, depicted three seated girls amongst a gathering of family members. They are enjoying their new baby lamb, which was being held by one of the girls at right. The image was captured during a visit made to this village by health care practitioners, which included Stop Transmission of Polio (STOP) members such as Chris Zahniser, B.S.N., R.N., M.P.H., who was also the provider of this picture, as well as a number of others from this field assignment. The visit allowed the health care workers to check on the child village members in order to determine their polio vaccination status.
