Sandra Spivey enlisted in the Delayed Entry Program (DEP) her junior year of high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She served as 71L, Administration Specialist, after graduating from high school in 1999, and was trained as a 54B, Chemical Operations Specialist, with the 314th Chemical Company, Carrollton, Georgia. Her unit was deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom and due to an unforeseen medical diagnosis during a medical briefing she was assigned to the 2145th Garrison Support Unit, Fort Benning, Ga., and served as a liaison for injured soldiers during the war. Sergeant Sandra Spivey served six proud years in the Armed Forces. Sandra currently serves as the West Georgia Ecological Services Administrative Assistant and is seen here celebrating Earth Day with the implementation of a local schools' outdoor classroom. As a Service employee since 2006, Sandra has earned her B.B.A in Business, and is on track to graduate with her M.B.A. in Sustainable Business this coming spring.
