Tommy Crews.
Tommy Crews served with the U.S. Army for three years as a combat engineer, enlisting in March of 2002. He completed basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, and served with the 40th Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Division in Baumholder, Germany. He deployed to Iraq from April 2003 to July 2004. .

He finished his military commitment at Ft. Campbell, KY, and received an Honorable Discharge in 2005. .
.
Crews is now a Forestry Technician at Okefenokee NWR in southeast Georgia. His duties include prescribe burning, boundary marking, timber marking, and managing for RCW habitat. He started at Oke back in November of 2010 and really enjoys it..
âOke is a great place to work, plus Iâm from this area so it feels like home!â said Crews. âIâm glad to continue to serve this great country working with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.â
