Description:
Cattle raised by Bruce Johnson at Dragonfly Farm are free-range, grass-fed, and very stress-free in Beaverdam, VA, on Friday, May 6, 2011, as they spend the day roaming one pasture or another and resting under shade trees. Sequential use of pastures allows the grass and land to re-grow and recover. Dragonfly and other farms produce meat products listed and ordered on Lulus Local Food website and distributed by Fall Line Farms food hub who offer a wide variety of household food staples and specialty items. Members pick their customized orders from an ever changing inventory of fruits, vegetables, meats, soaps, eggs, cheeses, flowers, honey, pastas, sauces, syrups, baked goods, mushrooms, flour and grains. Every Thursday, suppliers team up with other suppliers to deliver customized orders to, one of several pick-up points, designated by the customer in or around the Richmond area.
